MAY THRU SEPTEMBER DOWNTOWN ANCHORAGE MARKET Where: Downtown Anchorage parking lot on 3rd Ave. between C St. and E St. When: Saturdays and Sundays from May 10th thru September 14th. What: The Market is a lively place to find everything from Alaskan seafood and produce to fine arts, both local and imported. The variety of food booths is impressive; entertainment is decent, and the atmosphere is quite festive. We are located in the Alaska Grown area near the farmers, in the NE corner of the market - spaces 64 & 65. Come see us and sample all of our products. Come see what's new! We'll be selling a few other Alaska Grown favorites along with our own products. FOURTH OF JULY WEEKEND GIRDWOOD FOREST FAIR Where: Girdwood Alaska; about 40 miles south of Anchorage. Head south out of Anchorage on the New Seward Highway to the Alyeska/Girdwood turn-off. Turn left and go about two miles; you'll know when you're there! When: Friday through Sunday - July 4th, 5th and 6th. What: Our favorite summer event - Woodstock in Alaska...the best in music (two stages going constantly), food, all Alaskan artists, pottery, fine art, etc. AND the home of our famous STRAWBERRY-BANANA SHORTCAKE; drizzled with our own "Kahiltna Climax" birch caramel topping on an awesome mountain of freshly whipped cream. This is now the only event that we offer the "Awesome One"...come experience the joy, and Alaskans in the throes of mid-summer madness!
