Salmonberries, related to raspberries, are found in coastal Alaska and Canada. Our delicious jam contains 50% berries, sugar, wildflower honey, lemon juice, Pomona's pectin, calcium, and citric acid. Pectin is necessary for salmonberry to gel, but we use a low-sugar pectin so that we can still keep the proportion of sugars down. It does contains seeds, though we have filtered out approximately 2/3 of them. This jam is unusual and delicious and, as salmonberries are highly valued by Alaskans, currently our best-selling jam. 3.75 ounce jar. |
